MANAGER OF THE WARREN G. HARDING PRESIDENTIAL SITES

Sherry Hall has been site manager of the Harding Home Presidential Site in Marion, Ohio since 2009. Prior to that, she managed the education programs for the site for nine years. An historian who specializes in the lives and times of Warren and Florence Harding, Hall is the author of the 2014 book, “Warren G. Harding and The Marion Daily Star: How Newspapering Shaped a President.” She also authored a video script about the Harding’s, designed education programs about the Harding era for schoolchildren and adults, and has written numerous newspaper and magazine articles. Hall is a former journalist, working as a reporter and editor at The (Canton) Repository, Canton, Ohio; The Marion Star in Marion, Ohio; and The Alliance Review in Alliance, Ohio. She is a graduate of Heidelberg University and a native of Marion. She and her husband, Kevin, have two grown children, Brett, a history teacher in Marion, and Tricia, a geologist in Denver, CO.

HISTORIAN

Author of four nonfiction books: Ballots and Bullets, Black Power Politics and Urban Guerrilla Warfare in 1968 Cleveland (2018); January 1973, Watergate, Roe v Wade, Vietnam, and the Month that Changed America Forever (2015); The Harding Affair, Love and Espionage During the Great War (2009); and Linking Rings, William W. Durbin and the Magic and Mystery of America (2004). He contributed to The Presidents and the Constitution (2016). Robenalt lectures nationally with John Dean, Nixon's White House Counsel, on legal ethics and the legacy of Watergate. Together they have spoken to tens of thousands of lawyers across the country in one of the most acclaimed continuing legal education programs. Robenalt is a partner at the law firm of Thompson Hine LLP. He lives in Shaker Heights, Ohio. He has written extensively on the presidency, Article II, impeachment, Watergate, abortion, and the Progressive Era. His great-grandfather was the register of the United States Treasury under President Franklin Roosevelt and also the first elected president of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. He advocates for an Ohio Presidential Center. He speaks on racism and implicit bias.

PRESIDENT & CEO

Robin von Seldeneck is the President and CEO of the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum. Robin received her undergraduate degree from Mary Baldwin College where she double majored in History and Political Science; and her Master’s in Public Administration from James Madison University.

HISTORIAN

Brett Hall has been an interpreter and historian at the Harding Presidential Sites for many years, in addition to being a high school history teacher. He is a graduate of the College of Wooster, where he did deep research into the effect of racial issues on the Harding presidency.
